Maddi Baird is a Music Composition student at San Diego State University.

Having a strong passion for music technology, synthesis, and analog gear, Maddi focuses on creating unique and textured soundscapes. ​

Maddi has drawn inspiration from composers such as Arthur Russell, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Phillip Glass, and Harold Budd in order to blend her interests in experimental, electronic and ambient music.

She currently volunteers as the Chief Engineer for KCR College Radio at San Diego State, and has volunteered with Ship In The Woods, NWEAMO, as well as having interned with the Ojai Music Festival.

Maddi has done sound design for SDSU's productions of Romeo and Juliet and Spring Awakening. ​

She will be attending a workshop this summer in France studying with electronic musician Laurel Halo.
